Saturday Update

Catie and I visited Chris tonight. She had tough day today. The Doc wanted to get her to eat some semi-solid food to get her Intestines working. Well, all it did was make her nauseous. She felt that way most of the day. Add to that a rash that is covering the her entire back and she is not having the best of days. She is however getting more proficient at getting in and out of bed. Amazing what having to get up to use the bathroom every two hours will do for motivation. The three of us took our longest walk yet, all four hallways on her floor out and back. We walked for about 45 minutes, before heading back to the room exhausted. The hospital staff is still hopeful that Chris will be released sometime later this afternoon. All depends on the elusive BM. We continue to pray that she is able to come home as soon as possible.
