Out of Surgery

Chris just got out of surgery and is in the recovery room now. I spoke with the surgeon Dr. Holte and he told me the procedure went very well. There were no complications. He ended up doing a bone graft from Chris' hip to add some extra strength on the posterior side. He also said he was amazed how thick the disc was between the vertibre and the tail bone. He ended up putting a 17mm bone graft which is large for someone her size. Not a problem, he just thought it was interesting. Hopefully I will be able to see Chris in the next hour or two. I can't wait to give her a hug and kiss.
