Our host Park drove us back to the boat ramp at RM 562 early this morning. We were in our boats and on the water by 8:15 am. Thanks to the 7 inches of rain from Hurricane Delta the river was moving a bit faster than it was when we exited on Thursday.
With a few exceptions, the paddling conditions were really nice today. We had overcast skies, so it wasn’t too hot and we also had a bit if current to help us along as well.
Our mileage today is our longest single day of paddling in almost three weeks. We found a really nice beach site for camping and we are looking forward to another good day on the river tomorrow.
