Christina dropped us back at the at the Shelby Forest Ramp before heading back home. THe weather was looking to be in our favor today, way better than the day before.
Jon and I made excellent pace today. We arrived at the Mud Island marina in 3 hours, the same distance that took us 8 hours the day prior. The river gave us some redemption today, and it couldn’t have come at the better time.
We used the rest of the day to do laundry, dry out our gear and organize our food for the next segment.
Looking forward to tomorrow to see what the river gives us.
