Zero Day Saturday
Well, Hurricane Delta hit us overnight. We had over 7 inches of rain and some pretty strong wind. You’ll see from the pictures below that our hosts yard looked more like a lake today.
The good news is that the rain should be moving out tonight. Our plan now is to have Park drive us back up to the boat ramp at RM 562 to resume our paddle.
Our short goal is 25 miles to Greenville, MS boat ramp, and our long goal is 36 miles to a sand island known as American Bar.
We are very thankful to our hosts Park and Sharon Neff for taking such good care of us the last two days.
