I'm back in the motorsports capital of the world, Indianapolis Indiana. My friend Tom Ayres and I have her for our 8th annual pilgramage to the United States Grand Prix Formula One race. Today we saw two practice sessions, with the drivers getting their cars set up for qualifying tomorrow. The Mercedes-McLarens are on top of the charts, with reigning world champion Fernando Alanso fastest in the first session and his team mate rookie Lewis Hamilton quickest in the second session. The weather was quite hot today with temps in the low 90's. We are looking forward to qualifying tomorrow. The picture of the day is of Scott Speed, the sole American in Formula One.
