Apple Days

In our little town of Excelsior, the final community event of the summer season is Apple Days. This event signals the end of summer and the beginning of fall with a large street fair that pretty much takes over all of downtown. People come from all over the Twin Cites to experience this festival. Chris had a chance to have a booth set up to promote her Swiss Colonies Occasions business. To give you an idea of how well her back is healing, she was able to do setup and tear down plus man the booth for 8 hours and end it all with her back feeling pretty good.

Chris has been going to physical therapy for the past several weeks. They are focusing on flexibility with various stretches to get her back muscles back to their pre-surgery level of movement. The first few weeks of PT left her feeling kind of stiff and sore, but it is now starting to pay off with a string of several weeks of little to no discomfort. The long road of recovery continues to progress according to plan!
