Persistance Pays Off
Today was a big day for our oldest son Nik. He has been studying for his DMV learners permit written test for several months and today was the big day. I received a phone call around noon from Nik. "Hey Dad, I passed!" Yahoo! Way to go Nik. All his hard work and studying have payed off for him. I'll be starting him off with a little parking lot practice next weekend when he comes back from his trip to Tucson AZ. Congratulations Nik, Mom and I are very proud of you!

Happy Anniversary
Today is a big milestone for me. On March 12, 1984 I started my career at Quad/Graphics. The very first hour of my very first day was spent in an orientation class taught by Harry Quadracci himself. I'll Never forget his opening statement. "I welcome you all to the first day, of the rest of your lives." And with that the adventure began. Along the way I have been so blessed to live out many of Harry's dreams, to create a company were we could all dare to dream big, that we could accomplish more are a team than we could individually apart, and that we were building the company that day, that generations not yet born would be inheriting from us.
Well, Here I sit today, 25 years later and my reality is even bigger than I ever dared dream on the cold March Day in Pewaukee. As a team we have accomplished so many amazing things. And true to his word, the trainee's that I have worked with the last year were in fact, born after I started working for Quad. It's been an amazing journey so far, but this is really just a road side marker on a much bigger journey that we are all a part of. There is so much growth still to accomplish, so many opportunities to create for that next future generation. I am proud and humbled to have been giving this opportunity by a man that next to my Father has left the biggest fingerprint on who I am. God Bless you Harry.
