Summer 2002 Road Trip
I was working on organizing my photos and web site this weekend and I couldn't help but notice that every major road trip is documented on my family web site but one. In fact it's our original road trip! In the summer of 2002 we loaded up the family mini van for a trip that looped us from our home in Los Angeles to Milwaukee. We spent 5 days in Milwaukee visiting with family and friends then took a northern route west along Interstate 94 before looping back south on Interstate 15. Along the way we visited my cousin Steve and his family in St Paul, MN (little did we know that 4 years later we would be living in the Twin Cities!) followed by visits to several amazing National Parks including:

April Fool!
I wrote this post back on April 1st, but had accidently saved it as a draft and didn't publish it. So, here you go!

Yesterday it was 54 degree's. Woke up this morning to 7 inches of new snow on the ground! Talk about a cruel April Fools' joke! Well, it's April so the snow can't last for long. Come on spring!
